A mixed bag in last night’s budget for

A mixed bag in last night’s budget for NSW, an increase to the first home buyers grant threshold to $750,000, with good news for 2015/16, but a deficit in 2014/15. For our North Coast area, we have some good news. A new hospital for Byron Bay, which will assist in taking the pressure off our other regional facilities. Plus confirmation of the long awaited second river crossing at Grafton, our regional centre, which will help with accessibility. So positives and negatives, but we are hopeful that with the increase to the first home buyers threshold it will generate more activity in our area.
